Dan Martier is a drummer, percussionist, vocalist, composer and teacher based out of coastal Carolina who is sought after for his adept handling of a wide range of musical styles and instruments. For almost a decade Martier has toured extensively with Tim Reynolds and TR3 through the United States, Canada and Brazil. When he is not touring with TR3, Martier is one half of Martier Sound Meditation traveling the country with his wife Laura guiding audiences on their signature Sound Journey concerts and meditation offerings.
Martier's playing is intuitive, improvisational with a masterful sensitivity toward his collaborators. A virtuoso on the drum set, Martier also plays a Meinl Sonic Energy Hand Pan, hand drums, Paiste gongs and a variety of other sound making instruments that inspires a heart opening transcendent experience. In addition to recording and performing online Sound Journeys this year, Dan is currently composing some beautiful ambient music, available on Soundcloud. |

Martier also supports a number of local and regional acts including; Birddog, the Americana duo, with Laura Martier, jazz guitarist Joe Mapp, Karl Werne and Friends and has shared the stage with luminaries like Stanly Jordan, Jeff Coffin, Elvin Bishop, Christie Lenee, Rashawn Ross, Marcus Eaton, Felix Pastorius, Dexter Whitaker, Eddie Williams, Harvie S, and many more.
